This well known Croatian artist and architect, Matko Trebotic, likes to remind us of the rich cultural and historic heritage of his native Dalmatia. His frequent motifs are the old Croatian churches of the early Middle Ages, of which he shows us the floorplan. Around the church, surrounded by cypresses, are Roman ruins and a monumental cross, all under the burning Mediterranean sun.
