The Pyramid
Fascinated with the pyramid, as a perfect geometric body of special mathematical and astronomical significance, the artist places it in the foreground. As a symbol of time and longetivity, the perpetual riddle of countless generations, this subject makes us think of the passing of time and of ourselves, in comparison to the Universe. This meditative aspect has been achieved by the use of various tones of brown.

An intimistic scene of a "salon" in which a woman in a deaply cut red dress is sitting on a chair with her hands crossed on her lap, holding a small hat in her hand. In the background is an antique table with a teapot, cup and saucer. There is a palpable atmosphere of expectancy.
Time Wall
Jordan, as a typical representative of metaphysical and surrealist painting, has created a moment in which time has stopped. The red wall painted like scenery, separates the dark background from the lit female form in the foreground. The static scene and melancholy atmosphere give this work a sense of timelessness.

He has incorporated the of title of each print into the print itself and so they are called "Rainbow", "Spring", "Neille" and "Tristan and Isolde". Many artists of the 19th century used a similar style in the spirit of Aubrey Beardsley in their creations of posters for various musicals of the time
