My Neighbors cat
Trident Graphics has published her first two original, silk-screen, limited edition prints „Summer Afternoon“ and „My Neighbour's Cat“.
Neille
Josip Bukal was a new-day exponent of Art Nouveau as the prints in our collection show. Here, his serigraphs show portraits of women in profile with floral motives in pastelcolored decorative patterns. He has incorporated the of title of each print into the print itself and so they are called "Rainbow", "Spring", "Neille" and "Tristan and Isolde". Many artists of the 19th century used a similar style in the spirit of Aubrey Beardsley in their creations of posters for various musicals of the time
Nostalgia
A beautiful woman in a red dress is sitting relaxed with her arm over the back of the chair. The calm scene of the sittingroom with its turpentine-colored walls creates a nostalgic atmosphere of early evening. The oriental carpet and small antique dresser with its bowl of fruit are very finely painted in minute detail.
Nude
As a subject, the nude has been a challenge for artists through the centuries. It has also intrigued Dimitrije who has succeeded, without insisting on details, in creating the whole volume of the body and attaining a measure of refinement in the eroticity of the female nude.

Red Island
A colorful row of houses painted in live colors dominate the foreground, while in the upper part, on the horizon, there is a red island, giving the picture its name. Intensely colored, it is a warm and perceptive illumination of a coastal town in his native Croatia.
Ruins
Dramatic lighting on the Roman ruins against a dark background with figures like shadows gives us the impression of a world awaiting its inevitable end. In this work of magical surrealism the artist has created a feeling of decadence, of impermanency, of faded memories, of nostalgia for the fragments of all our lost childhoods.

Summer afternoon
Trident Graphics has published her first two original, silk-screen, limited edition prints „Summer Afternoon“ and „My Neighbour's Cat“.
Summer Day
Using warm colors like burnt orange and red, ochre, dark yellow and brown, against a ligher background, the artist has created a summer day. The romantic scenography is complemented by figures, dressed in clothes from the 19th century, walking on the beach. All this reminds us of the time of our greatgrandfathers leaving us with a nostalgic feeling for times gone by.
The Bride
The thin and elegant figure of the bride with upswept veil and bridal bouquet in her hand, dominates in the foreground. In the background we can just make out the contours of an early Dalmatian church, an often repeated theme of the artist.
The Door
Using geometric and numeric symbols the artist is inclining ever more towards the abstract so that there remains only the idea of a division between sky and earth. Being well acquainted with the expressive technique of watercolors, Trebotic has created, by disolving the colors, a special mood.
